On August 16, 2025, we will open the doors of our greenhouse for a special open day dedicated entirely to these magnificent plants. Come visit and be amazed by our extensive collection of Hoyas.

What can you expect on this day?

A look behind the scenes of the greenhouse with an extensive collection of Hoyas to admire. From small to enormous. Almost always a few are in bloom, hopefully a lot that day.

Because the space along the Hoya walls is quite narrow, guided tours will take place in small groups throughout the day. Therefore, it will not be possible to walk freely through the greenhouse yourself.

The opportunity to buy Hoyas for your own collection. These are rooted plants in 8.5cm pots, just like those found in the webshop. The prices will be about a third lower than the webshop, or a 33% discount! For those who prefer unrooted cuttings, I'll probably have to disappoint. Because otherwise it would get too complicated. Perhaps during the tour, if it's quiet, with reservation.

The nursery itself also offers the opportunity to purchase plants from their assortment. They grow beautiful Dieffenbachias and have a line of hanging baskets that also includes a number of Hoyas. A unique opportunity to buy a large, mature Hoya at a reasonable price.

In a place where many plant enthusiasts gather, I expect there's also a chance that people would like to exchange plants with each other. It's important that you do this outside. It is NOT permitted to bring plant material inside. To prevent further contamination, I ask that you wear clean clothing and shoes. This doesn't have to be neat, but it should be okay for it to get dirty.

The greenhouse is not open to the public except on this day.

Op 16 augustus 2025 openen we de deuren van de kwekerij voor een speciale open dag geheel gewijd aan deze prachtige planten. Kom langs en laat je verwonderen door onze uitgebreide collectie Hoya's.

Wat kun je deze dag verwachten?

Een kijkje achter de schermen van onze kwekerij met een uitgebreide collectie Hoya's om te bewonderen. Van klein, tot enorm. Vrijwel altijd staan er wel een paar in bloei, hopelijk die dag heel veel.

Omdat de ruimte langs de Hoya muren vrij smal is, zal in kleine groepjes gedurende dag rondleidingen plaatsvinden. Het is dus niet mogelijk vrij zelf door de kwekerij te lopen.

De mogelijkheid om Hoya's te kopen voor je eigen collectie. Dit zijn gewortelde planten in 8,5cm potten zoals ook op de webshop te vinden zijn. De prijzen zullen ongeveer 1/3 lager zijn dan de webshop. ofwel 33% korting! Voor de liefhebbers van ongewortelde stekken moet ik waarschijnlijk teleurstellen. Omdat het anders te gecompliceerd wordt. Onder voorbehoud misschien tijdens de rondleiding als het rustig is.

De kwekerij zelf bied ook de mogelijkheid aan om uit hun assortiment planten te kopen. Zij kweken prachtige Dieffenbachia's en hebben een hangpottenlijn waar ook een aantal Hoya's tussen zitten. Een unieke kans om een grote volgroeide Hoya's te kopen voor een vriendelijk prijsje.

Op zo'n plek waar veel plantenliefhebbers bij elkaar komen verwacht ik ook dat er een kans bestaat dat mensen onderling planten willen ruilen. Het is belangrijk dat je dit buiten doet. Het is NIET toegestaan plantaardig materiaal mee naar binnen te nemen. Om verdere besmettingen te voorkomen vraag ik om schone kleding en schoenen aan te doen. Dit hoeft niet netjes te zijn, het moet wel vies mogen worden.
