Just an update

It's been quite a while since the last update. A lot has happened in the last few months. The move is now completely finished, which allows me to focus more on the future of the company.

The last few months have been hectic. Lots of changes, things that didn't go well. But also an opportunity to experiment and improve even further. The Hoyas are doing better than expected in the 8.5 cm pots. This is a pretty ideal size, especially for shipping. I've been wanting to start growing in transparent pots for a while now. That's happening now, although the first pots for sale will still be months away.

Last quarter, no fewer than 3,000 Hoyas were potted. A third of which went to wholesale. And probably a few hundred unrooted cuttings have gone to a new home. Normally, I wouldn't share these figures, but this is an incredible result that I'm incredibly proud of, despite the hectic period.

Besides loyal returning customers, some of whom have been with me for years, I'm seeing more and more new enthusiasts. Hoyas are going to take over the world! And I'm happy to contribute to this with everything I can. That's why it's important to know that I stand behind my product 100%.

All your plants are grown with a lot of love and passion. And unfortunately, sometimes things go wrong during shipping, for example. Or shortly afterward. I know that many enthusiasts already factor in some form of risk. For example, leaf damage. Or new growth points/leaves that dry out. There are things I can't completely prevent, and they're part of the process. But you can always expect a healthy product. I very rarely receive a message that something hasn't gone well, and I always think, I wouldn't have been happy if I had received it like that either. Therefore, if something isn't right, please send a message, preferably by email or chat on the website.

The cultivation is looking fantastic at the moment. Because the sun is shining brightly, many plants are much larger than they should be. When they start to grow together, they become "unmanageable" for me. That's why I often choose the larger specimens when I have plenty of stock. As winter approaches, everything will grow much more slowly. Fortunately, that hasn't happened yet, and many beautiful Hoyas will become available in the coming months.
