New packaging material again & Transparant propagation pots for sale.

It's finally here! The first plants in transparent pots are being sold. Much faster than I expected. Meanwhile, the first trays are ready to be filled with new cuttings. A pallet containing tens of thousands of pots has arrived for this purpose. If you're thinking these are handy cutting pots, they are now also available (in packs of 20 or 100). It's 100% made in Holland which i'm very proud of. Price/quality wise theire very good.

I've also continued experimenting with the plastic protective covers. Because I now have a fixed pot size, I can have the sleeves made to exact measurements. Production will begin soon. For now, you'll find a piece of paper at the bottom of some of the sleeves to ensure a proper fit. You'll see these sleeves available when the old stock runs out.

A larger sleeve is now available for larger plants. Like most of the others, it's light green in color. This is because it's made of 100% recycled plastic.

For years, I've been using ziplock bags to ship unrooted cuttings. These have certainly proven their worth.There's really little room for improvement, except that they're not sturdy, and especially with rooted plants, packaging them takes a lot of extra time. That's why a sturdier sleeve is available for most unrooted cuttings. For large cuttings, I'll still have to resort to a ziplock bag.

As a plant lover, I'm sure you sometimes ship cuttings or plants. I'd like to ask you to reuse as much of the packaging material as possible. It's quite expensive. Almost most of the boxes and filling I use is "waste" from the greenhouse. The costs I save this way are now being used for new, better packaging. I'm sure you can reuse something!
